Men are designed to tackle challenges, something that pushes us to each beyond what we think our limitations are to reach new heights. There are few things better for society than a man who has found a worthy challenge to tackle, and few things worse for society than a man who lacks that challenge.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man who lacks that challenge turns to destructive behavior to fill that void. This can be primarily self-destructive such as the man who can spend hours invested in a video game chasing an artificial challenge the man who treats sexual conquest as the ultimate challenge or the man who has no personal life because he is too busy pursuing success at work. This can also be destructive to others such as womanizing, belittling others, physical aggression or violence.\u00a0 Whatever the symptom it\u2019s a sign of a man who lacks the necessary challenge in his life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man who has that challenge can accomplish great things. This can mean risking your life for the freedom of others, finding cures for uncurable diseases, leading a country through difficult times, or being fully invested in raising a family. There are many ways it can manifest, but it is clear when a man has truly embraced the challenge. The only way a man can feel truly happy and fulfilled is when he does. The man who has found this challenge will have no need for the expensive car, time consuming hobbies or extramarital affairs that seem to come with a mid-life crisis, because there will be no hole or regret to try and fill with those things. Now that you know the importance of embracing this challenge, the question becomes how to find that challenge and how to make sure that it is the real deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some questions to ask yourself to get started <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. What would I do if money were not an issue? If the answer is golf, then you probably need to keep thinking. The key is to find something you have an inner passion for, something that is inwardly fulfilling so that doing it would be worth it even if you weren\u2019t being paid for it. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. Does this benefit others, or only myself? If you must make excuses for how it would help someone, it does not, and you should keep looking. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      1. Does this seem like too big of a task to handle by yourself? In order for this challenge to be truly fulfilling it needs to be something bigger than you. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        1. Do you feel happy and fulfilled while doing it? Even when it is difficult do you still feel it is the right thing to do. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          1. Can you picture yourself feeling fulfilled doing anything else? This doesn\u2019t mean there aren\u2019t any doubts or difficult days, but even through those you know there couldn\u2019t really be doing anything else. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            This is going to be the most important thing you can figure out and there is a generation of men right now who largely have no idea what that challenge is or have any idea how to find it, or how important it is that they do, but it makes all the difference between men who live lives that are ineffective or destructive, and those that live lives that can truly transform humankind. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
